Attention all tortie lovers and soon to be tortie lovers ! Mary is your girl if you’re looking for a sweet , affectionate girl with the cutest little meow!   Mary (or Poundcake as her foster family has dubbed her because she reminds them of a slice of marble Poundcake). She is a very loving and affectionate petite girl who turns on the purr machine and will roll over for belly rubs! She has the the cutest short little tail and her meows will melt your heart (volume up in her video!). She would do best with a gentle, cat-savvy owner that will let her blossom at her pace; she just needs a little time, love & patience to melt into her new home. She is currently in a foster home with other cats and a small dog. She has adjusted just fine with her foster cat and dog siblings but she can also be adopted into a home as a single cat where she will get all the love and attention she craves. 
Mary is named after her kind rescuer in the Bronx who saw this girl was in need of rescue , we didn’t realize just how friendly she was until we gave her time to decompress after she was spayed! Once she showed her sweet true colors we knew we had to find her a loving home.
