Meet adorable Georgie Washington who loves to play, be picked up , make biscuits , purr, and cuddle! This young boy, estimated at about 1 year old, is healthy, neutered , negative for FIV and FELV, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He lives in harmony with foster moms sweet dog and has lived with other cats before in his foster home and loved to play with them , so he would love to have a sweet feline playmate or even a playful cat friendly dog. He is very good when strangers come into the home, and rather than hide, he walks up to them for pets! He really loves to be picked up and cuddled and gives you sad kitty eyes if you don’t pick him up when he asks!
Georgie was rescued from a sad life living in a dirty basement of an apartment building in Washington Heights . Our rescuers got the call from a concerned community member after they heard management wanted him and the other cats living in that basement gone. We rescued him and "Amsterdam" (since adopted). Georgie was the first one to walk up to us when we came to the rescue, and happily walked right into a carrier without a peep! As if to say "Get me out of here!"
