Your heart will melt when you meet Benz our special, resilient , happy go lucky tripod kitten. Benz is truly special , he’s happy all the time , loves every person and animal he meets , never a hiss. You wouldn’t believe all he’s been through by meeting him because he has the absolute sweetest disposition. Having only 3 legs doesn’t stop this boy from living his best life ! He runs up and down stairs, climbs cat trees, and runs down the hallway chasing laser pointers and wands toys ! He can even “bunny kick” toys with 3 legs , and play wrestle with other cats! He’s truly remarkable and doesn’t know anything is different! How did he end up with 3 legs you ask? we rescued Benz when he was found with an awful injury to his left paw and lower leg. It was so sad and must have been so painful . We took him to the best specialists (Guardian Veterinary Specialists and Animal Medical Center) . Both specialists recommended Benz have his leg amputated. Any slim chance at healing would have been long, and painful. We didn’t want to see Benz in pain any longer than was necessary, and made the decision to amputate. To our amazement , Benz stood up (literally) to the challenge and was back up on his feet only a couple days later acting like the playful , purring kitten he is. We have noticed carpets and rugs seem to be easier for him to get traction on , so it’s a plus if you have some carpeting /rugs to he can be confident when he’s happily playing and running around . Benz is now healthy , neutered , vaccinated , and tested negative for FIV and FELV! Benz would love to have a kitty playmate in the home so please inquire either if you already have a playful cat looking for a friend , or , want to adopt two! (We can pair him up!)
