Jessica and James
"Jessica and James are just as you described. She is more curious, and he is a lover. His whole body vibrates when he sits on my lap, purring so hard. You weren't kidding when you said he drools when petted. The whole cuff of my shirt was wet after a cuddle session. Last night they slept on the bed after she spent a half-hour pouncing on our feet. I tried not to move my feet, but it didn't matter. If your hands were outside the blanket, James found a way to get his head in your hand to pet him. At 5:30, they became hyperactive again, so I moved them back to the master bath until we got up. Then they were off to the races again.
The kitties have a lot of energy. They love to sleep with one on each side of me with their heads on my shoulder.
James and Jesse love their cat tree, but the thing they love most is 6 am. Jesse loves to play with her squeaky mouse. James LOVES to snuggle, but he is so excited he can't stay still. His head had to be on my shoulder, and he slithers across my neck from one shoulder to the other. They are adjusting well." - Barbara
Reesie
"Happy Holidays! This is Reesie one year later.
I just wanted to thank you for bringing her into our lives. She has brought us love times a million. Thanks again for all you do. We hope you and your family enjoyed a happy and healthy holiday."
Gin Gin
"I cannot tell you how much we love Gin Gin and how HE rescued ME from being so depressed after losing my dear cat Felix, who was 18 years old! Gin Gin is the sweetest little cat in the world! I asked Joan, who made the video on Pet Finder that made me drive all the way from Connecticut to the Bronx to get him, and I think it was you! I fell in love with him from that video!! He was so affectionate and gentle with you and reminded me so much of my Felix! All my friends who saw the video said that every cat should have a video like that!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This little guy has already brought us so much happiness. He's a young guy, and I said maybe we're too old to have a young, indoor cat. How will we entertain him? But he loves to play, especially in this little tunnel chute we got for him that he loves to dive through! He loves snuggling and playing with all his toys. We also have a screened-in porch, and he likes to watch the birds and chipmunks. I love when he jumps on my bed in the morning to say good morning, and at night he sleeps in my lap when we're watching TV. We are so so so lucky to have him!! I just adore him!
He loves his toys, and he has a cat bed right on my desk so he can keep me company when I'm working. Just love him!! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart."
Happy tails to Bobbi!
This incredibly sweet and charming boy has found his wonderful forever home! We are so happy for darling Bobbi!
Happy tails to Neptune!
We are so incredibly happy this sweet and funny boy found the forever home he truly deserved! He was rescued from an incredibly tough life on the street, emaciated, in pain from a mouth infection, and thought feral. Once he was pain-free and fostered with love, he turned into the sweetest and most funny boy!!
Gabriel
Gabriel was adopted into the most loving home shortly after he was recovered. Ironically his forever home is just down the street from where we found him but this time he will never be abandoned again! We receive updates from time to time, his adopter and cat friend ADORE him, and he even had to go on a diet! He is one big chunky boy of love!
BACKSTORY : Gabriel is a walking angel of sweetness and love!! He rescued himself by walking up to one of our volunteers emaciated with a flea collar at only 4 pounds of skin and bones and severe breathing issues. He had no microchip and no missing posters. He was abandoned and helpless. He looked at us as if saying, “please help me.” For the first month after his rescue, September 2019, we tried taking smaller Steps such as antibiotics, humidifier treatment, and lots of love. It became evident that he needed much more care when he wasn’t gaining weight and still couldn’t breathe. In October 2019, we decided to take him to the incredible veterinarians at Cornell University veterinary Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut. It was there that they immediately knew Gabriel needed A LOT of help and immediately placed him in ICU. After running diagnostics, he was found to have a large nasal polyp blocking his airway and a hiatal hernia, causing his stomach to move into his esophagus. As a result of severe malnutrition, he also had anemia, organ function issues, and fragile, weak skin. We had his nasal polyp removed, a gastric feeding tube in place for TEN weeks to fix his stomach back to his abdominal wall. As of December 30th, 2019, Gabriel has made a seemingly incredible recovery.
